Enables fast and efficient driving of two independent MOSFETs in half-bridge configuration for power management applications. Monolithic integrated circuit with two independent, non-inverting gate drivers for N-channel MOSFETs. Includes both high-side and low-side drive capability. Bootstrap circuit supports high-side drive up to 175V. Designed as a single chip to minimize component count in half-bridge topologies.
Fast switching with 65ns typical rise/fall times improves efficiency and allows high-frequency operation. High peak output current of 2A enables strong drive of large MOSFET gates, minimizing switching losses. Low input threshold voltage increases compatibility with logic controllers.
Used in power management systems, DC-DC converters, motor drivers, class D audio amplifiers, UPS, battery-powered equipment, solar inverters, and other applications needing efficient half-bridge switching with N-channel MOSFETs.
Choose this driver for designs requiring reliable two-channel MOSFET half-bridge drive, with supply rails up to 12.6V and high-side voltages up to 175V. Ensure compatibility with system logic levels (input threshold values). Select when minimal propagation delay and strong gate driving are needed, especially in compact, surface-mount systems.
Ensure that supply and bootstrap voltages remain within specified ranges during all operating conditions. Provide appropriate bypass and bootstrap capacitors close to the IC. Do not exceed peak output current to avoid device overheating. Follow ESD and moisture handling precautions, although the device has MSL 1.
