Earlier, UMC General Manager Wang Shi said at the French conference that in the fourth quarter, the capacity utilization rate might drop to 90%, the wafer shipment volume would decrease by about 10%, the average product price would be flat, and the gross margin would be about 41% to 43%. Wang Shi pointed out that in the fourth quarter, the demand of the car market remained stable, the computer and smartphone markets continued to de inventory, and the 12 inch demand was relatively healthy compared with the 8 inch demand.
