On September 11th, Apple officially released the new models of the iPhone 19, 11Pro and 11ProMax in 2019. It is equipped with the Apple A13 bionic processor. According to reports, the Apple A13 processor integrates 8.5 billion transistors.
Apple said that this is the fastest chip of the current smartphone.
Apple said that the A13's neural network engine has eight cores, up to 20% faster, and up to 15% more energy, supporting three-shot systems, face IDs, augmented reality apps and more.
At the same time, two new machine learning accelerators have been added to the A13 CPU to perform matrix math operations up to six times faster, allowing the central processor to perform one trillion operations per second. CoreML3 works with machine learning controllers to automatically assign tasks to central processing units, graphics processors, or neural network engines.
