Apple to Launch AI-Powered Wall-Mounted Tablet in March 2025

According to sources, Apple plans to launch a wall-mounted tablet display that can control home appliances, handle video calls, and use artificial intelligence (AI) to manage apps.

The product, codenamed J490, is expected to be released as early as March 2025, with a focus on showcasing Apple's new AI platform, Apple Intelligence.

Reports suggest that the price of this high-end Apple device could reach up to $1,000, depending on the components used, though the price of the display-only model will likely be much lower.

This potential device will debut as Apple seeks to compete more aggressively in the smart home market, where it will face competition from products like Google’s Nest Hub and Amazon’s Echo Show and Echo Hub smart displays.

The AI wall-mounted tablet is said to resemble a square iPad, approximately the size of two iPhones placed side by side, with a screen size of about 6 inches. It will be available in silver and black colors. The product will function as a standalone device, but some tasks may require an iPhone to complete.
